Post by David • It’s been a while since we’ve worked a fourteen hour day. Two ceremonies. Multiple locations. Two cultures. One wedding. We were absolutely exhausted but it was so completely worth it. Anu and Michael are some of the kindest clients we’ve ever had and made us feel like a member of their family from the moment we arrived. We started the day at the Intercontinental O’Hare (which has an awesome restaurant btw) now the LOEWS O’Hare. From there it was off to the Manav Seva Mandir for their first ceremony and from there to the Chicago Botanical Gardens for their second ceremony and reception and one heck of a dance floor. It was an amazing day, a beautiful evening and I already know that we’ll be returning to the CBG at some point with family to enjoy the beautiful gardens more than we could. There are so many wonderful locations and spots for photos, lots of little alcoves and gardens, that when it came down to picking our favorites it was so difficult. We hope you like the ones we chose and can’t wait to share the next wedding! Thanks Anu and Michael for an amazing day!| Anu and Michael |

Where did you go on your honeymoon? • We went to the Seychelles. We chose that location because we wanted to take the opportunity to go somewhere as far away as possible that we may not have a chance to go to in the future (i.e., due to the time required to travel such a long distance). We also heard it was a very diverse place with a mixture of many different cultures and, as a result of that, we were excited to try the local cuisine.
What was your favorite adventure? • Taking a helicopter ride (a first for both of us) across the Indian Ocean from island to island. Incredible.
What was the best thing you ate? • During our final dinner the chef specially prepared for us a salad made with freshly cut hearts of palm. We had never tasted anything like it before.
What was your favorite part of the wedding day? • It is hard to pick a favorite part given that we thought the entire day was perfect in every way, but if we had to choose it would be dancing the night away with our family and all of our closest friends.
Do you have any advice for couples getting married? • Communication is the key to a healthy relationship, and don’t forget to laugh. Make a special effort to be fully present on your wedding day so that you can take in each moment and remember it for the rest of your life. And don’t forget to hire Cathy & David for all your wedding photography needs! <— Seriously didn’t tell them to write this! That’s AWESOME. Thank you guys!!! 😀 😀 😀
