Peninsula Hotel | Chicago, Illinois | Brittany and Chase • After an amazing rehearsal dinner at the North Pond Restaurant (which Cathy and I will be returning to for dinner at some point based on what we saw the food that was presented) we knew this wedding was going to be big. And when the reception was going to be at the stunning Peninsula Hotel, we knew it was going to be awesome. And it was. The theme of Christmas took center stage for the wedding, and they even had a girl outside ice skating to set the tone of their cocktail hour. Not to mention that Brittany’s family was able to pull some strings so we were able to get into the Chicago Theater for some of our favorite portraits we’ve ever taken. But like any other wedding, what made it awesome was the people, the family, the friends and the ridiculous fun out on the dance floor. And there was some seriously ridiculous fun. I knew when I met Brittany and Chase at their engagement session that they were madly in love and it only showed more on their wedding day. We hope that love continues and hope to see them again, down the road.
