Just a little insight into the personal side of our life. Cathy and I regularly attend PUG meetings. These are for people who use Pictage with their business. Cathy and I love to network with photographers all over the place. We’ve never seen other photographers as competition, but rather just another place to share ideas, gain insights, and better ourselves. We love meeting with people.

It’s a fun chance for us to get together, have some fun, socialize, and sometimes do little fun open photo sessions. There were cameras everywhere!

We’ll be hosting our own photography group meeting (Indy Photog Shootout, a part of the nationwide group, Photog Shootout) on August 12th at our friend Amanda’s place in Indianapolis. If you’re a photographer in the midwest area and want to know more or attend the meeting please send us an email and we’ll pass on the information to you!

Special thanks to Janet for letting us use her place again for the PUG meeting.

It’s always great to see Kiera Dubach and Kurtis Bowerstock, the two below. These two keep me laughing.

So not only did I go to Tallent for my birthday but I got to hang out with some awesome photographers too! What an AWESOME pug meeting! We also got to enjoy seeing Kevin Swan‘s amazing new home and were graced regularly by Eden. Eden is beyond adorable and LOVES the camera. I’ve never seen a child get so happy to hear a shutter click.

Here are some of the photos I snagged while I was there.

Entry Part 1: PUG (Pictage User Group) Meeting in Indianapolis!-

I headed up to Indy to meet with some photofriends of ours, to hang out, talk shop, goof off, and all around have a good time. Our normal fearless leader Mr. Swan, was unavailable, so the amazing Chad Franz of Eclipse Photography took the reins! We found out about some cool new things Pictage has to offer and more importantly got to see photographer friends in Indiana.

I love going to these things. I also got to meet our new friend Nicole who drove from Evansville as well as Amanda and Brenda who we love emailing with!

A fun time was had by all so here are some pictures of the fun..ness… yes… funness…

Entry Part 2: Charlotte-Anne and David get snapped

When we first moved here to B-town, we made the huge mistake of letting Charlie Anne wander outside a little (she’s a strictly inside cat), and now she’s obsessed. Every day she spends a good portion of her time sitting at the front door meowing or batting the keys on the key-hanger above the couch. So, occasionally we must give in to her endless begging and take her outside for kitty-sized adventure
