Avon Wedding Photography | Amber and Greg

WOW! What an awesome weekend! What a wonderful wedding!

So this weekend we met Amber and Greg for the first time. We had only been talking on the phone and were told that they didn’t have a photographer for their wedding, which was in two weeks! [C+D] to the rescue! Anyways, we showed up at the church (which is actually Cat’s parents’ church) and met with Amber and her two amazing kids, Kayla and Claire. Both of which, Cat and I would totally steal as our own instantly. Kayla is very outgoing, loves the camera and she’s a complete sweetheart. Claire is soft-spoken, barely said a word, but the gears are always turning with a big smile on her face.

So they all got ready and Cat stayed with them while I took photos of the church and waited for the guys. After about two hours of that, I found myself sneaking into the bridal room from time to time and snagged a couple of photos while I waited. I was a bit jealous of the awesome red room, though being filled with mirrors Cat had to stand in the closet to not be in the shots! Since I’m very much the chatterbox and Cathy is very quiet, Amber said to Cat after I left, “Wow. You guys are total opposites.” So true, haha. But that’s why we do so well together.icon biggrin photo

Then Greg and the guys arrived with two little boys of one of the groomsman who were hysterical. Both were total sweethearts and loved getting their photo taken.icon smile photoGreg was such an awesome guy and it was great meeting him!

The wedding ceremony was so sweet. Yours truly almost cried. Ugh.

The reception was at a park in Danville, Indiana and it was so nice and quiet. We love intimated weddings, just like ours!

A good time was had by all. Anyways, on with the photos!

Dad - You two are Awesome!!! Mom showed off the pics/web site @ work. Of course i did the same(ha). The photos really detected the ‘spirit’ of this wedding. I enjoyed the ‘black/white’ photos as much as the ‘colors’. I wish you two could have taken our wedding pics(ha! that would be impossibe of course!! maybe our 30th Anniversary(hint)). I love you two so much. Enjoy all the weddings as i know the brides & bridegrooms will. Love daddy and mom(Hargis).

Shaun & Kristen - Looks great! You will be great wedding photographers!

Jenny – Grise Photography - WOW, you two! You would never know this was your very first wedding! GREAT job!

Shannan - Cathy and Dave,

Love and Blessings,

Dad - Excellent job! Love your work with shadows. Time & experience should only improve your work as the style appears to be natural. Well done. We’re very proud of you. Keep focused.:)

Love, Dad & Carla

April G - Oh my word!! I don’t have enough time to say everything I want to about these pictures. You guys are amazing. The way you take pictures allows me to feel like I know the people from the wedding, yet I’ve never met them. AMAZING!! I have to go, but I wanted to give you a quick comment.

Love you guys!!

PS. I have now officially started my new job (this is my 3rd day), and yet I still haven’t seen you guys since you’ve moved. Please get together with me soon. I miss you two!!

Julie - These are great pictures! I love them! Great job C+D

brian - Excellent work! The color pictures especially are very well done. :)

Parris Whittingham - You broken the seal on your wedding photography bottle. Drink up. I love the photos of the children and the old folks. The caption for lil jack was classic when i saw his face. Great work guys!

Peace,
Parris

erin - you guys did an amazing job! the pictures are awesome! cathy, did you cut your hair?

Mom - I know I’m the Mom and I’m prejudice on how my “kids” take pictures – so in conclusion – these pictures you guys took brought tears to my eyes. You so know how to “capture” the moment and I’m beaming with pride on how well you my “son” and “daughter” – in-law take photos.

Love you Lots!

Mom
