Chesterton Wedding Photography | Ashley and Jake

Wedding on May 15th, 2010 at Sand Creek Country Club in Chesterton, Indiana — (Post by Cathy) We have been so excited to shoot Ashley and Jake’s wedding ever since  they booked us after Ashley’s sister Meghan had her Indianapolis wedding last year. Their location was absolutely beautiful, with the ceremony being held in the gardens behind the Sand Creek Country Club. Clutching her dad’s arm, Ashley walked through an ivy covered stone archway and you could hear everyone let out a little gasp when they saw her. And Jake must have had the biggest smile I’ve ever seen standing at the front with his groomsmen watching Ashley walk towards him. The two of them held hands in front of everyone and said their vows, both of them holding back giddy laughter the entire time. After the ceremony, the party went late into the night, full of dancing, laughter, and and some random karaoke out on the dance floor. All in all, the day was a blast. It was so great to see Ashley and Meghan’s family again and great to meet new friends as well.
