Wedding Photography at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana (Post by David) – I have to be completely honest here. I had no idea before Ann and Jason contacted us that you could have your wedding at Ross Ade Stadium. Looking back I think we would have maybe considered it for our wedding since it was such an awesome location (we got married at Purdue, too — BOILER UP!). We were so thrilled to be shooting a wedding back on the campus where Cathy and I met. The cool factor for Ann and Jason’s wedding didn’t stop there however. They also had dueling pianos at their reception! I don’t know if you’ve ever seen this before but it was extremely cool. Basically it was like having the piano man from the Neon Cactus (for you West Lafayette natives) play at your wedding all night, anything you want to hear. Awesome right? They took requests, had a special song with the kids, and kept people going all night. We absolutely love live bands at weddings but this one took the cake for most unique music we’ve ever seen, and we loved every minute of it. They played non-stop all night and only took a quick break to blast the Purdue fight song, which we couldn’t help but cheer along with. By the time we got back to Cathy’s parents’ house (they live in West Lafayette) we were completely exhausted but we couldn’t get the smiles off our faces.
Ann and Jason – you are two of the coolest and kindest people we know. Your wedding was a total blast and we were honored to be there to capture it for you. And a little special shout out to Katie, one of Ann’s friends, who is a photographer based in Iowa for being just plain awesome.

Since Ann and Jason both work for John Deere, along with a lot of their guests, the famous green tractor made an appearance for some photos, and Jason even had a John Deere groom’s cake!
Just have to say that I think this was my favorite photo of the night.
