Hello hello hello!
Why am I so crazy-uber-sooper-dooper-pumped this morning??? WHY YOU ASK??? I’m going to an amazing car show that’s why!!!
For the second time Luigi (my step-dad) and I are going to Skytop Lodge in Pennsylvania by the coast to attend and compete at Le Belle Macchina d’Italia, otherwise known as ‘The Beautiful Cars of Italy.’ This is the nations largest 3-Day Italian car gathering. As with last time we will be entering Lou’s beautifully maintained 1968 Lamborghini Islero. Last time we were there (2005) we were able to snag second place in the Lamborghini division!
This time will be just a bit different however. The wives are going!Cathy and Mom will be attending as well!
Also, Cat and I will be professional photographers and snapping lots of pictures, along with this we will be filming a short film/documentary of the experience of going to this show as well as the cars and in particular the Lamborghini Islero which will be a featured car this year.So wish us luck!!! Because of this we will be out of the office this evening through Monday. If you need to get ahold of us just give us a ring at 309-825-6174. We’ll be bringing the laptop along as well and try to post a couple updates here and there!
We’ll also be racing on the racetrack. The Pocono Speedway. At speeds easily at excess of 100mph. How cool is that?? Next time we go I’m planning on bringing my 70% completed Fiat X1/9 for a couple laps as well.To get your blood pumping I’ve enclosed some videos that might excite you!I’m sure all the grooms will thank me and there will be a lot of brides out there rolling their eyes.
