Bloomington, Indiana. September, 2008.
When Jeffrey called me and and asked if I we did family portraits, I of course said yes! I had no idea how much of a family he was talking about though!
Four generations! The new baby, their parents, the grand parents (including Jeffrey), and even the great grand parents!!! How cool is that?? Cathy and I currently don’t have any time for kids, though we know we desperately want them someday, so we always jump at the opportunity to take pictures of babies whenever we can! After meeting up with the family on Indiana University’s campus we snapped pictures like crazy. The whole family was so photogenic, and the light was just perfect. It made for some great portraits!
We hope you guys like the results!![]()

I love babies’ emotions! It’s so cool to see all their little moods.![]()

Cat was quick enough to snap this one.![]()

The whole family!![]()

This one just might be my favorite.![]()

Or is this one my favorite??

We had so much fun taking these pictures and we hope to do many more family portraits in the coming years!
Thanks guys so much for finding us!
What’s funny is right after the portrait session I bumped into Muhammad whose wedding we shot earlier this year. I was so caught up in the moment and so crazy-focused that I didn’t even recognize him! LOL! And after a double take I felt so silly! Cathy teased me for the rest of the night about it. Anyways, I snapped off a fun photo of Cat and Muhammad together!![]()

Thanks for reading!! -David.

Dad - You were given a wonderful opportunity to photograph something so rare. It is not often that so many generations of one family can come together at one time on such a beautiful day and have it captured so well. The warmth of the family really came through the lens. Excellent work.
