In case you didn’t know Cat and I absolutely love film. We even have a guest bedroom we like to call the DVD room (uhh… don’t ask.
). Anyways, it just so happens that one of our friends, Nathan, is a independent film director. He’s a huge comic book fan and decided, using his own financing, make a movie about three geeks who go to the an enormous comic book convention. He’s been working on this film for about four or five years now, as long as I’ve known him, and he loves what he’s doing as much as we love photography. Nathan also does movie reviews and does a lot of writing for comic books.
Nathan is one of our best friends and we hadn’t seen him since we got married so we invited him down from Lafayette for the weekend to hang out and to work on his movie’s website (www.graphicfantasymovie.com) which we helped design for him. (And to those of you who know my absoluteĀ hatredĀ of three fonts, Papyrus, Curlz and Comic Sans, understand that Comic Sans is appropriate when designing for a comic book movie. Ha! So hush!). Anyways, while he was here I told him we had to get some headshots for him to help him get some acting roles (since he does that too, and helps with Improve Olympics in Chicago). So, here they are!

At the end of our little mini-shoot Nathan said he wanted a funny picture for his MySpace page. This was the result and all of us laughed after we saw it. It’s totally him!!![]()

We miss yah Nathan! Come back again soon!!!![]()
