Brandon and Leigh Ann’s Engagement | Jacksonville, Florida

Destination Engagement Session on August 13th, at One Ocean Resort at Atlantic Beach in Jacksonville, Florida  - (Post by David) We met Brandon and Leigh Ann at Summer and Ryan’s wedding last year (more specifically, in the Photoboothicon biggrin photo). As soon as these two were engaged they gave us a call and we got to talking about what they wanted to do for their engagement sessions (we’ll be working with them again later this month at French Lick Resort!). We ended up working out an idea for doing a destination engagement session in Destin, Florida. When the oil spill hit we halted that idea and instead moved it to Jacksonville, Florida. By the end of all the planning Brandon and Leigh Ann had helped inspire us to offer a brand new type of session to our clients — our Much Love Sessions.

We had so much fun with these two taking pictures on the beach, half deep in the waves, where Cat got very excited and accidentally drowned one of our flashes which somehow came back to life!!! (FYI, Shootsac owners — while the Shootsac may be made out of wetsuit material it is not waterproof. LOL.). We also got to check out the amazing resort they were staying at and snap some photos inside. In the end it was a wonderful day for the four of us and we’ve been waiting and waiting to show these images and can’t wait to meet up with them again at French Lick!icon biggrin photo

Some people wonder how we get those big smiles. Yah….. The things I do for a laugh. >.<

In the end though it was totally worth the climb!icon smile photo

Then we headed back to the beach again because the sun was going down.icon smile photo

The water on the beach was like glass. It was hard to just pick one of these for the blog.icon smile photo

And that was when the sun came out for like five seconds while I was scoping another location for photos. Thankfully Cat had stayed behind and snagged this one. One of our absolute faves.icon biggrin photo

(BTW. I found a starfish!)

Somehow… I have no idea how… we convinced them to run out fully clothed into the water.icon biggrin photo

This might be the wave that killed Cat’s flash… >.< Oh well! It was worth it.icon smile photo
