Oliver Winery Engagement Photography | Brianna and Scott

Engagement Photography Session – Indiana University Campus and Oliver Winery, Bloomington Indiana
-Post by Cathy.

The day we shot this engagement session was absolutely perfect. The clouds gave us some gorgeous, even light and the colors of the fall leaves were so bright and vibrant. Plus, it didn’t hurt that we had some amazing subjects.:)

Brianna and Scott are one of the cutest couples ever! They seem so perfect and natural together which made them so easy to photograph. They recently moved from California (where they’ll be getting married next year) to go to I.U. here in Bloomington, which is why we focused on campus for the first half of their session. And since Bri and Scott both love wine tasting (and are planning a California vineyard wedding), we decided to also grab some photos at Oliver Winery (which reminded us a bit of Kate and Nathan’s Iowa vineyard wedding earlier this year) since it is absolutely gorgeous in the fall. Bri and Scott – you guys were awesome and we hope you enjoy your photos! Hit us up for a wine tasting trip anytime–we’re totally there.:)

Anyways, on with the photos!:)

Meet Brianna!

Meet Scott!

The moss of these steps were just too pretty not to post.:)

I love everything about this image.:)

This picture just makes me so happy!:)It’s David’s favorite.

We couldn’t help getting in a quick tasting of some of Oliver’s delicious wines.:)David and I love wine and if any of our readers ever want to get together and go to a wine tasting you don’t have to twist our arm.:-D

My favorite!:)

“Bond.. James Bond.” How suave does Scott look here??

David couldn’t resist getting them to sit on the barrels.:-DBTW… there were pumpkins EVERYWHERE as you can see in the background!

Another of David’s favorites.

Hot.

David did his best ‘horse whispering’ to get the horses to come over for the shot.

Here’s hoping we get a chance to add ‘Oliver Winery Wedding Photographers’ to our checklist at some point. We’d love to shoot one there as the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. A special thanks to the staff for letting us stay after hours to take pictures.:)

Thanks for reading! -Cathy.

Great session guys – I love the warmth that you captured between the couple. Beautiful couple, light and emotions.

This is my favorite engagement session from you both! The images of the couple in the bed of leaves, the look of Brianna’s eye looking over Scott’s shoulder…so many highlights here. You two continually inspire me :)

She has the most beautifully rich, coffee bean colored eyes! What a fabulous setting too! America’s Funniest Videos presents “David, the Hoosier Horse Whisperer”. I can see it now! LOL! You guys are great!

These are all so pretty! Love that red, still trying to figure out if it was a tree in the background or a wall. lol.

You guys are great! I found your website today through my friends Wes Robinson and have really enjoyed looking through your blog. You guys have an awesome style!

David is a children whisperer too among his many talents. :D David & Cat – you continue with your awesomeness of seeing the love captured in each and every photograph you take. Just so you know – even if I wasn’t your Mom/Mom-in-law, I would still tell you what fabulous photographers you are. Seriously can’t wait to see our San Fran vacation pictures and Lou’s retirement party. I have a box of kleenex next to the computer – so I’m all set. :D
Love you lots! Mom

Hello my favourite engagement session ever of yours!! Love everything about it. Love the wine shots the best :)

Angi Davis - November 19, 2009 - 10:51 am

OK…you KNOW I’m going to comment–I totally dig winery shoots! We’ve done an engagement shoot and a wedding at the one outside of Bloomington, IL, and have another wedding/reception there in 2010. Nicely done! And David, I didn’t realize you were so multi-faceted, you horse whisperer you!! :O)
