After getting back from New York, we were asked to shoot a senior portrait session for one amazing young guy. Derek is a senior in high school who has been recruited by the Indiana University basketball team! How exciting is that?! This guy seriously makes me look short and I’m 6′ 1″. At 6′ 8″ tall he towers over Cathy. Derek’s mom was there and we can see where he gets his great attitude from.
He listened intently to everything we said and was so easy to shoot. We were lucky enough to get to get some shots inside Assembly Hall as well as inside the locker room (which by the way, is seriously awesome looking!!).
So, now we’ve got a reason to cheer for IU next year (remember we’re Purdue grads!) and we’re thrilled about it. I tried showing off my mad basketball skills and actually sunk a single basket out of about a billion attempts. Thankfully Derek was nice enough not to make fun of me too much.Cathy on the other hand..

We had SOOO much fun taking these photos and can’t wait to shoot our next senior portrait session. Be sure to keep your eyes open for this guy next year, I know we will!!!
