Garfield Park Engagement Photography | Sarah and Kyle

June 28, 2008 – Garfield Park, Indiana.

How much do Sarah and Kyle rock? A WHOLE LOT! We met this couple a while back and immediately fell in love with them. We know their laid-back joyful attitudes were totally up our alley!:-DHow can I explain how much these two are in love? Let’s just say after the first time Cathy asked if she could get them to kiss for her, whenever we had them look at each other, a strange gravity field developed around their lips and their faces were suddenly together!!:-DThese two have the most awesome location for their wedding here in Indiana (we’re not telling where) and we’re so upset we have to wait till NEXT June to shoot there! UGH! That just plain drives us crazy. If you think the anticipation of waiting for your wedding is killing you, remember that we have the anticipation of lots and lots of weddings!!! It’s SO TOUGH!:-D

Anyways, we’re so excited about these photos because we just plain love’m so here they are!!!

Meet Sarah and Kyle

HOT!!!

Journey of LOVE boarding NOW!:-D(How cheesy is that??)

Cat just happened to catch this on our walk between locations!:-D

So cute!!:-D

These two were such goofballs!:-DIt was never hard to get a laugh! GO BLUE STEEL!!!

How do these two go from adorable…

TO JUST PLAIN SEXY??

See what I mean about those gravitational lips?:-D

Another picture for our future studio!:-D(My shot)

And Cat’s shot.:)

It was a very busy day at the park.:-D

Sarah begged Kyle to do the Spiderman kiss. So he complied.:-DI was so freaked he was going to fall on his head but thankfully he is much more acrobatic than I am.:)

Our first engagement jump-shot!:-DIt totally shows their personality! I’m sure we’ll have one of these at their wedding! Only with lots more people!!!

I think this picture totally sums up these two. Whenever they would walk she would hold his finger. I found this so cute. All couples have their own way of holding on to each other, whether walking or not. It reminds me of Cat the way she’ll grab an article of my clothing, the loop of my pants while we walk, or when we’re watching a movie on the couch. It’s these little quirks that couples have, their individual signature love grip that makes them special… We love capturing those little moments.

Thanks Sarah and Kyle for being such a cool couple we LOVED hanging out with you guys and being able to capture the two of you in love and give you some memories you’ll have forever!!:-D

Thanks for reading! -David.

The pictures look great! Your smiling personalities really came through in these photographs. I would have liked so have seen one or two more kissing photos, though.

SOOOOOOOOO CUTE! You guys are adorable together. I wish you the best of luck!

Andrew Jagoda - June 30, 2008 - 7:47 am

Those pictures are amazing! They really capture the love that you two share as well as your playful personalities. You were definitely meant to be together. William Blake once said, “Love to faults is always blind, always is to joy inclin’d, lawless, wing’d, and unconfin’d, and breaks all chains from every mind.” I think you two have that kind of special love for each other and I wish you the very best.

Congratulations,
Andrew

Parker and Kyle -
Those pictures are fabulous! The photographers definitly captured your personalities and attitudes. My favorite picture is the one where Kyle is giving a flower to you. :) I think it is the most natural and genuine shot of the bunch! They all have their own little flare to them though. Congratulations you two!

XO, Jules

Hey girl, The photos turned out amazing. I love that you picked a place with a lot of colors and various backgrounds. Plus, I can tell you two had so much fun at this location. Photos I think are one of the most special parts of a wedding because you will always be able to look back and reflect on them. I’m glad you found such great photographers to capture your special moments.

I am so happy for you and Kyle and can not wait to be a part of your big day.

Love, Jen

Miss Diana :) - June 29, 2008 - 7:28 pm

The pictures are incredible and beautiful just like Sarah. I will always think of Sarah as the cutest little girl that she was when she first came to me for dance classes. When did she grow to be the mature beauty that I see in these pictures??

Kyle, I look forward to meeting the young man who has captured Sarah’s heart. You must be pretty special because she wouldn’t have fallen for just anyone. Be good to her because she is one of my “special” girls.

Let me know when you get closer to the wedding planning stage – I’d LOVE to write your wedding dance as a gift for you!!

CONGRATULATIONS and hugs,
Miss Diana

Kristin Harp - June 29, 2008 - 6:11 pm

So nice to see you glued face to face LOL! For me, I have to admit Kyle, it’s a little weird…weren’t you just 4 years old? You said yourself you have to be 32 before you get your ear pierced how is it that you can be getting married? Is Sarah just your hot babysitter :) I like your shirt Sarah good choice considering I saw you before you went to have the pics taken. Oh and I like the ones without heads!
Love Your Big sis/soon to be big-sis-in-law…..

Stacey Morris - June 29, 2008 - 6:00 pm

Sarah & Kyle – These are the cutest engagement pictures ever! I think your photographers really succeeded at showing both of your personalities through the way they shot the photos and through the locations that were chosen (a park? how perfect!). It’s amazing to see the love you two share captured on film. My personal faves are the very first one and the photo where Kyle has his arm around you and you’re looking back at him – so precious! Congrats, you two!!

Hanssie Trainor - June 29, 2008 - 5:33 pm

My favorites are the second shot and the future studio shot :)

And all the railroad ones :) If we tried to take pictures in CA on the railroad, we’d either get hit by a metro train or arrested…

Mom & Dad Parker - June 29, 2008 - 5:25 pm

Sarah & Kyle:

These pictures are great! Cathy and David definitely caught both of your playful attitudes! We are so happy that you have found each other. Can’t wait to see the wedding pictures!!!

David and Cat I remember when you guys got engaged and you thought it would take forever to get to your special day – my how the time flew by and it was here before you knew it. Now it has been a whole year since you walked down the isle. The pictures of Sara & Kyle look fantastic and you can see how much in love they are with each other. What wonderful memories they’ll have when they look at these photos over the years…..

Love, Mom

David and Karen - June 29, 2008 - 4:45 pm

Wow! These are great photos! They illustrate the deep and passionate love that Sarah and Kyle have for each other. As they look into each others eyes the world seems to fade into the distance. These pictures will be a great treasure in the years ahead. Our hope and prayer for you, Sarah and Kyle, is that you will always remember why you fell in love and why you chose to spend the rest of your lives together.

Thanks for the nice job, Cathy and David. We’re glad you’ll be a part of this exciting celebration, and we look forward to meeting you.

Kyle’s parents, and soon to be, Sarah’s in-laws,
