Wedding Reception – Adelino’s Ballroom

Post by David – Britney and Ben are people who really understand what we do. That’s because they are wedding photographers, based in Daytona Florida. We’re always both thrilled and extremely nervous when we get hired by other photographers. We get nervous because, like us, most photographers know exactly what they love when it comes to photography and we were thrilled that these two wanted exactly our style and trusted us to just go for it and do our thing. We weren’t the slightest bit stressed working with these two, and it was a total bonus that they are fabulously attractive. Those two things always make for fantastic photos and just plain makes our job easy. 🙂

There was some nostaligia involved when it came to their wedding. After all, we got married in Lafayette, Indiana as well (we’re both Purdue Grads, BOILER UP!!!). It was so fun and exciting to shoot in some of the same locations near where we did our own wedding portraits and engagement session with our photographers, Bobbi+Mike, a little more than five years ago. Taking those images made it feel like yesterday. 🙂

Thanks so much guys for the fun, the love and bringing back so many great memories for us! 🙂

Much Love,

P.S. — A little side note on something special and super cool from their wedding was that rather than doing a unity candle they did a unity painting (which you can see if you watch the slideshow at the end of this post). Essentially the two of them went up and painted a heart together. We loved it and thought it was such a great idea for creative couples! 😀

So yah, I totally drove the Subaru off road for this location rather than make Britney walk. And yes, I felt very cool doing it. 😀
